well….some updates on them….they just changed their name to teen runnings!
have no fear.. the beach boys wall of fuzz pop is still there!
we are sooo stoked to learn that one of our favourite bands of 2011, craft spells, is coming to town for Mosiac Music Festival on 10 Mar 2012.
the band’s debut album, idle labor, is namechecked in many music blogs’ top ten album of 2011.

she’s discovered by labrador records when only 15 year old (now 16) from an island outside Stockholm and she had no bandcamp/myspace page, hadn’t made any live shows or sent any demos to labels or press.
we think she’s going to be a force to reckon with shortly!
on the subject of selebrities, they did a great remix of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark or O.M.D.‘s history of modern (part i).
this song was taken from the British synthpop band’s 11th studio albume, History of Modern. It is their first album since 1996, and the first album featuring the classic 4-piece line-up since 1986′s The Pacific Age!
we think O.M.D. is one of the best 80s bands ever! read all about them here.
after the recent release of the tearjerker drew barrymore directed video of our deal, best coast is back with a new song. “how they want me to be” is a stripped down emotional song again with bethany’s vocals shining on..perfect!
one of the boys’ favourite female fronted bands, best coast, is back with a new download only single.
the song continues with the cheery 60s girls band sound which is a good thing.
this is released as part of the Adult Swim Singles Program that’s running for the next eight weeks.
