Come Saturday, young adult friction never looked so good coz us boys have Hong Kong’s top indie DJ collective cum gig promoter, SONGS FOR CHILDREN, to wreck the decks together at BluJaz Space!
Disappointed with the lack of indie parties in Hong Kong, Scottish couple, Mike Mystery and Jane Blondel, launched SONGS FOR CHILDREN, an unpretentious night of dancing, sing-a-longs and unapologetic fun. Armed with their tambourines and signature ‘No Coldplay Guarantee’, the duo has since become a staple in the city’s burgeoning indie music scene.
Other than these crazy nights, SONGS FOR CHILDREN have brought countless indie acts such as The Drums, Yuck, Asobi Seksu to Hong Kong.
So gather your dancing shoes and head down to BLUJAZ this Saturday for another fun LOADED night! woohoo!!!

azure blue‘s a standout among the host of indie bands in sweden. its blend of dreamy indiepop will no doubt find a lot of fans here. ‘Seasons’ is an especially ambitious track mixing rich soaring vocals with strings and keyboards that recall the venerable OMD discography
Born in 1989, sapphire slows started her solo project in Tokyo, spring 2011. Tracks are all recorded in her bedroom, simply with one lap top and some keyboards.
Her dance track expresses the space depth beneath the loneliness influenced by various electro music especially psychedelic chill-out
little is known about this japanese duo other than they make some of the best dreampop around! their debut release on double denim records was sold out in a flash and they will be releasing again in the States under captured tracks.
